Stillness

Sharing about stillness on the 29th of August...

I often gift candles after I pray & ask God to lead this ritual at the "right" time. Sometimes it's not delivered during the rawness of grief or right when it just happened. I am still and patient with it. I always have the candle 🕯 for the recipient ready in my closet (my prayer room) and then I pray over it. If I hear Him say "deliver it!" Then I do it. It's never on my time but always His time. It's always the most perfect Godly moment because the person who is grieving always responds with "how did you know I needed this today?" Then I always answer "God loves you and it was He who told me to deliver it to you." I am prepared and when the opportunity arises with God’s timing, it’s beautiful. (If you know me well as a friend or teacher, my life’s mantra is preparedness + opportunity = success)

Grief is forever and it changes our lives. So I learned to not rush it and to be still.
