Quantum mechanics is part of reality

“Reality is based on electrons and particles, and these particles in turn act like waves. So, you have to have a new set of mathematics to discuss the waves that make up a molecule, and that’s where quantum computers come in. Because quantum computers are not just off and on, off and on. We’re talking about electrons that can spin in any orientation simultaneously. That’s why quantum computers can simulate quantum devices, and the most intricate quantum device is you. You are the byproduct of quantum mechanics.”
“If you turned off quantum mechanics, what would happen to your body? It would dissolve. It would dissolve into a bunch of random subatomic particles. What holds these particles together? The quantum principle. Quantum mechanics holds your atoms together, it holds your body together, it allows your atoms to interact with other atoms to create catalysts, to create DNA and proteins.
“So what has quantum mechanics done for you lately? The answer is, everything.”

“Reality is based on electrons and particles.” This is an important aspect of reality: that it occurs on a quantum level. If this is true, then maybe it’s also true that we can get involved in quantum reality. In other words, we can affect it with our intention, with our mind and thoughts. This aligns with the spiritual premise that God wants us to guard our thoughts because it has an effect on our heart. And what comes from the heart, comes out in our mouth and actions: we express our reality. It’s all tied together: science and spirituality aligning to create reality.
Matthew 15:16-20, The Message
16-20 Jesus replied, “Don’t you know that anything that is swallowed works its way through the intestines and is finally defecated? But what comes out of the mouth gets its start in the heart. It’s from the heart that we vomit up evil arguments, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, lies, and cussing. That’s what pollutes. Eating or not eating certain foods, washing or not washing your hands—that’s neither here nor there.”
In my studies about Near Death Experiences (NDEs), one of the common themes from the stories is that thoughts matter: “thoughts are sticky”. They stick to the person that is being thought about, and they stick to the person who is thinking. Even the Bible addresses how thoughts are revealed through God:
Hebrews 4:12, Amplified Bible
12 For the word of God is living and active and full of power [making it operative, energizing, and effective]. It is sharper than any two-edged [a]sword, penetrating as far as the division of the [b]soul and spirit [the completeness of a person], and of both joints and marrow [the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and judging the very thoughts and intentions of the heart.
Spirituality and science are not the separate things we often think they are: they’re intertwined. Science is a part of our humanity as much as spirituality is. With so much knowledge about life, no one can truly define what it’s all about. We’re only guessing. So, why not embrace the idea that God is the Creator of All? Even science is created by God.
I was recently reminded that scientists aren’t creating anything, they’re only discovering what’s already there. Yet, no one is quite sure how it got there. There’s no single proof of existence, let alone consciousness. But, that’s another topic for another time.
